Christian Ministry Support

CNEC Partners International came into being to support national Christian workers - church planters, students at theological colleges, evangelists or pastors.

We retain this strong tradition with partnerships in Chile, China, Tanzania (the Dioceses of Morogoro and Mara), the Philippines (PMF), Rwanda, Kenya and Kyrgyzstan.

We believe that investing in national Christian workers is a wise use of our resources. Here in Australia, so often our churches' mission budgets are spent on expatriate mission. This is an expensive option if it is at the expense of supporting national Christians willing and eager to carry on the work of the Gospel. We are told that it costs $200/day to keep an expatriate missionary family on the ‘field’. Most of our partners work for $200/month! What an extraordinary difference!

We are advocates for supporting national Christian workers in resource-poor contexts. Not to create dependency but rather to express solidarity; giving from our over-abundance and living more simply here in Australia.
