Happy Newlyweds

Joanna Obbink and Angus Mansfield opted for a private wedding gift page. They raised over $4,000 for a clean water project in Peru and counselling and care for rape victims in DR Congo.

"We used a private donate page for our wedding at the end of 2009. It was such a blessing for us that, through the generosity of our guests, our wedding could be used as an opportunity to pass on resources and assist people in need overseas.

We loved that we could personalise the wedding page, by choosing specific partner orgnanisations to donate to that were close to our hearts. We were overjoyed that so many of our family and friends donated through our wedding page. It was definitely the easiest fundraising we've ever been a part of!

We wanted to recognise God's call on our lives to share our resources and care for the poor and vulnerable. Thanks to CNEC and the donation page for making it possible for us to start our marriage in this way!"
