- FRI 1 -
AUSTRALIA: Pray for Kim Vanden Hengel, the Thomases and McKeowns visiting our partners in DR Congo, Rwanda and Uganda. Pray for God’s protection, good health and blessing on this trip. Pray our partners will be encouraged and strengthened by this visit. Pray that the team will return enthusiastic to support our partners.
- SAT 2 -
PHILIPPINES: Pray for Joseline and Alfredo de Guzman (leader of Philippine Missionary Fellowship). At the time of printing we await news of the birth of their baby. A caesarean delivery was tentatively planned at the end of July. Pray for good health for Joseline and her baby. Pray for God’s blessing on their ministry.

AUSTRALIA: Praise for the recent opportunity for CNEC Partners International to participate in Moore Theological College’s Mission Week. Praise for raised awareness amongst students and pray for prospective support for our partners with students and their local churches, both now and in their future ministries.
- MON 4 -
AUSTRALIA: Praise God for many faithful people committed to pray for our partners throughout the world. They rely on our prayers as they know it is God who enables them to serve. Praise for many donors who financially support these ministries and praise for more than $5 million raised last financial year.
- TUE 5 -
AUSTRALIA: Praise for the growing number of partnerships between local churches, CNEC/PI and our national partners. This three-way relationship is a great encouragement to all involved. Pray for more churches to discover the value of such partnerships in the gospel.
- WED 6 -
CANADA: The Company Executive Officers of the CNEC/PI Alliance will meet together in Malaysia in September. Pray for Brent Mitchell, CEO of PI-Canada, as he finalises the meeting agenda for this gathering. Pray for God’s wisdom and blessing in the leadership of CNEC/PI.
- THU 7 -
CENTRAL ASIA: Pray for brother V., the director of Kara-Balta Family Shelter, as he begins several self-sustaining projects to help teenagers who are graduating from the Shelter. These projects include a teenage hostel, metal workshop and carpenter workshop. Pray that these orphaned teenagers will be blessed and trained to earn an income.

CENTRAL ASIA: Praise for the formation of the Literature Committee to assist Christian communities in Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian nations. Pray for blessing on this ministry. Pray for funds to support workers and develop training materials in the local Kyrgyz language for Theological Education by Extension (TEE) in Kyrgyzstan.
- SAT 9 -
CHINA: Praise for the recent short term team visit to China for the annual English camps with reports of many good conversations and connections with students. Pray for the students to excel in their English. Pray for the team, now back in their respective countries, as they become advocates for our partners in China.
- SUN 10 -
CHINA: Pray for those affected by recent flooding in DuAn County. Pray for our partners working in the region as they assist with rebuilding. Pray for ongoing provision of food and clean water for people affected until they can return to self-reliance.
- MON 11 -
CHINA: Pray for those affected by the earthquake in Sichuan. Pray for God’s comfort for those who are grieving, particularly parents who have lost their only child. Pray for CNEC/PI’s support of rebuilding schools, clinics and an old people’s home.
- TUE 12 -
CUBA: Pray for good health for our partners in Cuba and for the Lord’s enabling to plant new churches. Pray for the women’s and children’s ministry. Pray that the Cuban church will be an influence and that many will come to know and understand the grace and love of God.
- WED 13 -
DR CONGO: Pray for good health for doctors and nurses at HEAL Africa. Pray for those in residency programs and those currently completing their specialist training. Pray God would strengthen and encourage them in their faith and service. Praise for these men and women who are instruments of God’s blessing to patients in their care.
- THU 14 -
DR CONGO: Pray for God’s protection of our partners at HEAL Africa and for lasting peace where war and insecurity reign. Praise for the holistic vision that HEAL Africa has for their patients, their local communities and the whole country. Pray that the Maniema Project may continue for another three years.

HAITI: Pray for Haitian Calvary International Ministries. Pray for micro-enterprise projects, the ChildAid program and the current efforts to help poor families with basic food supplies. Pray for government stability, easing of the food crisis and protection during the hurricane season which runs from June to November.
- SAT 16 -
INDIA: Pray for Joshua Vision India and the Master Trainers working in Orissa State. Pray for believers in Orissa as the recent heavy rains are causing problems in the relief camps and poorly constructed houses. Pray for the persecuted villages which are malaria-prone with many already sick. Pray for safety and health.
- SUN 17 -
INDIA: Praise for Cooperative Outreach of India ministering to Muslim communities in north India. Pray for new believers to grow in their faith and boldness to share with their families. Pray for the COI team as they face many obstacles. Pray for the vocational training centre empowering women to earn an income.
- MON 18 -
INDONESIA: Praise for the annual Manly-Manado Walk which has provided funds for micro-loans, empowering 183 families through Bridge of Hope in Manado. Pray for this year’s walk scheduled for 13th September. Pray that many people will participate in and financially support this fundraising effort so that more families can be helped.
- TUE 19 -
INDONESIA: Pray for Bless Indonesia Today facing the challenges of increasing fuel prices, building materials and food. Pray for funding to purchase a replacement generator as government electricity supply becomes more erratic and their water supply is dependant on electricity. Pray for God’s provision for all their needs.
- WED 20 -
INDONESIA: Pray for boldness for Cahaya Suka church planters as they establish and build relationships with unreached people groups. Praise for the successful Organic Fertiliser Outreach of one branch. This project trains villagers in organic farming methods and sells organic fertiliser. Praise for good contacts as a result of this ministry.
- THU 21 -
KENYA: Praise for Peace Makers Fellowship and the faithful distributors of Challenge newspaper. Over and over again this paper has been transforming lives and helping people to understand God’s tender love and care. Praise for the hope that this paper brings. Pray for PMF churches to grow in faith.
- FRI 22 -
MACEDONIA: Pray for Macedonian Mission to the Balkans and Mirco Andreev during the investigations into the accidental death of two workers on a church building site. Pray for God’s peace and ability to persevere during this difficult time.
- SAT 23 -
MADAGASCAR: Praise for Bishop Roger Chung who recently celebrated five years as Bishop of the Diocese of Antsiranana. Praise for God’s enabling so that many achievements could be made including establishing 8 schools; five rice mills; 8 new churches in remote villages; and a new Theological and Pastoral Center and TEE Extension program.

MICAH: Micah Challenge reports, “A billion people lack reasonable access to safe drinking water and 40% of the world population do not have access to basic sanitation. Meeting the water and sanitation targets will require doubling the current annual investment to about $30 billion.” Pray for millennium development goals to be met.
- MON 25 -
MYANMAR: Pray for God’s comfort and provision for children orphaned by Cyclone Nargis and for all who grieve. Praise for the support of the Bible School students in the relief efforts. Pray for these students as they resume their studies.
- TUE 26 -
NORTH AFRICA: Praise for the recent distribution of thousands of copies of Scriptures as a result of a translation project. Pray that the Word of God would transform the lives of recipients. Pray that those who come to faith will be nurtured to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.
- WED 27 -
PHILIPPINES: Pray for Philippine Missionary Fellowship’s Board meeting being held at the end of this month. Pray for the Board as they finalise the plans for the two-storey building for PMF Elizabeth Academy. Praise for the PMF Water Station now helping the poor residents of Quezon City.
- THU 28 -
RWANDA: Pray for Venantie Uwishyaka from APRID who is currently suffering from a severe back problem. Pray for successful physiotherapy treatment over the next few months so that Venantie may be able to have corrective surgery. Pray for God’s enabling as she continues to serve APRID.
- FRI 29 -
UGANDA: Praise for Uganda Christian Fellowship Ministries. Pray for New Generation Orphan Care showing love and care for destitute children in remote regions. Praise for the successful church planting in mid July which led to more than 50 people responding to the Gospel and a church has been planted where there was none.
- SAT 30 -
UGANDA: Pray that the signing of the peace agreement between the government and rebels will be put into effect soon, so that insurgence in northern Uganda will end. Pray for the witness of our partner ministries in their local communities so that many may know of God’s grace and mercy in their lives.
- SUN 31 -
UGANDA: Pray for wisdom for Uganda Women Concern Ministry and the LAMPS Project. Pray for the continued implementation of the project in four pilot villages and wise management. Pray that efforts made will considerably reduce the instances of malaria in these communities.
